MLK Day of Reflection Parade and Ceremony
Hofstra University and Hempstead Village will pay tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during their annual parade and ceremony. The parade will begin at 9 a.m. in front of Village Hall and proceed to Hofstra’s campus. The ceremony and program will be held at the Sondra and David S. Live in the Elmont Library Theatre: Celebrate MLK Day!

The Long Island Explorium invites you to let your creative side shine as you decorate your very own time capsule! This event is available for grades 2-5 and allows you to take home your capsule, bury it and unlock memories in the years to come!
