There’s plenty to do on Long Island during Pride Month – June – this year.

LINDENHURST PRIDE BAR CRAWL 

Celebrate the first day of a month-long celebration with Lindenhurst’s First Pride Bar Crawl! The crawl will be hosted and guided by artists of the LGBTQ+ community while enlightening guests with a comical overview of the Lindenhurst Village history. There will be four designated time slots for guests to choose from as the bar crawl will make stops at seven establishments throughout the town. All attendees of the crawl will be invited back to an after-party hosted by Sand City featuring drag royalty and other entertainment!

BABYLON VILLAGE PRIDE PARADE 

Babylon Village will kick off Long Island Pride Parades with their fifth annual parade this Sunday starting at 3:00 p.m. Babylon Village will close down the street as marchers and floats will commence the parade starting at Main Street and Deer Park Avenue and proceed toward Lily Flanagans.

LONG ISLAND PRIDE 

The 34th annual Long Island Pride Parade & Festival will be held in Huntington Village with five hours full of steady entertainment! The grand parade will begin at noon starting with a march down Main Street and will highlight a festival and concert immediately after at the parade’s ending spot. There will also be numerous sponsor vendors, family pavilion areas, and a beer garden for all guests to celebrate.

DRAG QUEEN BINGO

Stop by the Necromantic Brew Co. in Farmingdale on Wednesday, June 12 for a night filled with laughs, drinks, drag queen bingo, and more! This event is open for all guests 21+ looking to enjoy drag performances by Ashley Jade and Toni Homeperm, craft beer, and a chance to win big in bingo.

PRIDE AFTER DARK 

The eighth annual Pride After Dark is headed to The Factory in Freeport on June 15! Hosted by Hofstra University, Northwell Health, and Sun River Health, the party is aimed towards LBGTQ+ individuals aged 13-30 and will be hosted by community leader Lee Soulja. First 300 guests are welcome to enjoy drag performances, food, drinks, music, dancing, giveaways, and more for free!

PRIDE MONTH ART: FAMILY PROGRAM 

The New York State Parks Long Island Environmental Education will be hosting a Pride Month family program geared towards families with children aged six and up. Bring the entire family to learn about influential modern painting to celebrate Pride month and create unique styled art!

THE RAINBOW RUN 

The Never Stop Running Foundation proudly presents The Rainbow Run 5K at Eisenhower Park to support and raise awareness for PFY, a division of Long Island Crisis Center for the LGBTQ+ community in Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens. There will be a free Kiddie Fun Run 30 minutes prior to the 5K and contestants can even enjoy post-race food and refreshments courtesy of All Around Food and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Registration includes a t-shirt and finisher medal and all interested participants can register online.

NEW YORK METS PRIDE NIGHT

It is everyone’s home at Citi Field on June 28 as the Mets will honor the LGBTQ+ community with their annual Pride Night! The festivities will include in-game entertainment, Mets Pride merchandise, themed cocktails, and a fireworks show at the end of the game. Hosted by Teachers Federal Credit Union and Dignity Memorial, Pride Night helps to support LGBT Network’s anti-bullying programs in Long Island and NYC schools.  Long Island Pride members can purchase tickets through the website which includes a limited edition Mets Pride hat.
