Unidentified body found dead in Island Park water

An unidentified body was found in a body of water in Island Park on Tuesday, April 8, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

The man, whose death is of an “undetermined nature,” was found in the water of a dock on Railroad Place and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officers, police said.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
