I have held the line on property taxes every year since taking office.
Our families are safer as I have ensured the hiring of more police and expanded police patrols. I was part of the coalition to help stop the Governor’s plan for the regionalization of our schools. Standing up to hate, prejudice and discrimination,
I wrote the law to unmask hate-inciting protestors and criminals plaguing our colleges and communities. In addition, I co-sponsored legislation protecting animals from abusers and our first responder safety law.
I have also spent a great deal of my time championing infrastructure projects from paving, bridge replacement, water quality, flood mitigation and sewer projects. Further, I have also worked with our first responders to bring equipment and vehicles and to our communities. I have just gotten started and there is a lot more work to do!
Top three issues:
1. Freezing, cutting property taxes, and affordability: I will continue to work to make the government more efficient and find ways to make the government more user-friendly through investments in infrastructure and communities.
2. Invest in police and first responders: I will continue to bring critical resources and funding to keep our communities safe for our police, firefighters and first responders.
3. Fight hate, prejudice and discrimination: I will continue to be a strong voice and leader in fighting hate in every corner.
