I love that my dedication and passion for animal welfare, supporting veterans, first responders and active military members makes a contribution to these communities saving lives.
How do you feel your business impacts the local community?*
Small businesses are the backbone of local communities. They are responsible for providing safe spaces for these communities that we support; veterans, first responders, military and animal rescues that are life changing as our mission states, “Helping Both Ends of the Leash.”
How did PSEG Long Island’s Business First Program support you?
PSEG Long Island has supported the mission here at Paws of War by providing an energy efficient approach to our programs that make a positive impact to our veteran, first responder, active military and animal rescue communities. We are also grateful for the past sponsorships with PSEG Long Island’s Power of Giving Campaign.
What role do you think small businesses play in promoting energy efficiency within the broader community?
Since Suffolk County is home to a vast network of small businesses that form the backbone of our community, it’s essential that each of us makes even a small commitment to energy efficiency together, those efforts create a significant impact.
How do you feel about being a Small Business Star?
It is an honor for this recognition and appreciated as we continue doing these amazing initiatives.
