FOX Nation hosted its seventh annual Patriot Awards on Thursday, Nov. 6, honoring First Lady Melania Trump with the Patriot of the Year Award in recognition of her efforts supporting military families and public service initiatives and to Erika Kirk, CEO of Turning Point USA and widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, with the inaugural “Charlie Kirk Legacy Award.” The ceremony took place at The Tilles Center for Performing Arts in Brookville and featured live performances, presentations and tributes celebrating American patriots.
Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany Aldean, joined FOX News Channel’s Jesse Watters to present the award to Kirk, commemorating her late husband’s dedication to free speech, faith and family. Following the presentation, Aldean performed live renditions of his hits “Try That in a Small Town” and “How Far Does a Goodbye Go.” FOX News Channel personality Sean Hannity, a Long Island native, served as master of ceremonies, introducing surprise speakers, honorees and guests throughout the evening, including a visit from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
The inaugural Charlie Kirk Legacy Award was established to honor individuals who embody Charlie Kirk’s mission and values. FOX Nation announced that in subsequent years, the award would continue to recognize figures who demonstrate commitment to free speech, faith and family. Kirk was the first recipient, marking a moment of tribute and reflection on her husband’s impact on conservative activism and youth engagement.
In addition to the legacy award, the Patriot Awards recognized a broad range of American heroes. The event, in partnership with Tunnel 2 Towers, Patriot Mobile, Golden Corral and Yrefy, celebrated military veterans, first responders and other inspirational figures.

Throughout the evening, Hannity highlighted the achievements of the honorees and provided context for the awards’ significance.
