A group of Port Washington School District students has been chosen to participate in the Art Supervisors Association (ASA) All-County Art Exhibition, the district announced. The event will be held Sunday, March 1, from 12 to 4 p.m. at W.T. Clarke High School.
Students were nominated by their art teachers and selected by the ASA for demonstrating exceptional skill and creativity in their respective mediums. Among the honorees, Paul D. Schreiber High School senior Magdalena Kresic received a senior scholarship from the ASA in recognition of her outstanding artistic achievements.
“We are so proud of these students and their teachers for this amazing accomplishment,” said Kevin Scully, director of creative arts. “Being selected for the All-County Exhibition is a testament to the hard work, vision, and dedication our students bring to their art every day.”
The district encourages community members to attend the exhibition to support these young artists and view their work firsthand. More information about the exhibition and the district’s creative arts program is available at portnet.org.
