Kudos to last week’s letter written by Jim Lowe. Mr. Lowe expressed the outrage and anger of many parents and students with the canceling of the late bus in the Sewanhaka school district.
The late bus had allowed my children and many other children the opportunity to participate in after school activities while ensuring a safe way home. I feel that it is imperative that all taxpaying parents within the district that disagree with the budget cut be at the next school board meeting to voice their disapproval.
The next board meeting will be held on July 14 at 8 p.m. at Sewanhaka High School, Board Room, 3rd Floor. Hopefully a large turnout from the community will help to get the late bus reinstituted.
