Haven’t we seen enough death and violence? Especially since Sept. 11! The media seems full of sad things. I ask that we give ourselves and our kids a needed break. Each year at Halloween, many seem to glorify death and violence, yet there is a very happy side – candy, cartoons, TV stars are among us, pumpkins, and good food. There are parties. All I am saying is there is a happy side to this day. Why not bring it out? We always, I am sad to say, have the violence and death in some way all year through.
It’s in the way you approach it! We need more “happy” now more than ever!
