The 2009-2010 Junior Varsity girls basketball team at Division Avenue High School finished on top in their conference for the second consecutive season.
The team had an overall record of 14-2 in both conference and non-league play. The sophomore captains led the Lady Dragons.
Sue Ballantyne was the leading scorer and recorded a career high of 21 points in a tough game against Southside.
Amanda McDonough was a dominant inside presence while JoJo Capitelli and Jen Addamo provided speed and intense defense throughout the season. Freshman point guard Gina Fader led the team in assists. Alexa Schneider, Alyssa Fiore, Tiffany Rodriguez, Kristine Chavez, Julie Weidler and Kathleen Kissane provided a much-needed spark and intensity to the team.
