TOPSOCCER
The spring TOPSoccer season got off to a chilly start but the action was hot on the field! The junior game was a nail-biter as the Boys tied the Girls 2-2 . Tommy Ko combined with Petros Panomeritakis for the Boys’ scoring . Nicolas Mininson was a standout as their goalie . Andrea Cellucci accounted for both Girls’ goals . Terrific play by Samantha Duggan, Jamie Chan and Mary Glass . The senior match looked like a runaway by the red team as Brett Tirado scored two goals early . David Glass was excellent on defense stopping the offense time and again . The blue team made a strategical, game-changing move midway through the game, which turned out to be monumental . By moving Harrison Stein from goalie to forward, the offense perked up . Harrison provided the attacking advantage as he scored the winning goal late in the game . Stefani Egre powered home the first two goals to tie the contest, which set the stage for Harrison . Debbie Chin provided great leadership as she directed the counter attacks for the blue team.
