Championship Goalkeeper Signs With UMass Lowell

Friends Academy congratulates senior Christopher Maierle of Wantagh on his acceptance to UMass Lowell. Maierle earned both academic and athletic scholarships from UMass.
As soccer goalkeeper of the Friends Academy varsity boys’ soccer team, Maierle helped his team win their first state championship title after beating Marathon High School 1-0.
