Indoor/Outdoor Yard Sale
Farmingdale United Methodist Church, 407 Main St. (corner of Grant Ave.), will hold its annual indoor/outdoor Yard Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. New and used items will be for sale, including household goods and toys, and breakfast and lunch snacks will be available. Monies raised will support church and mission projects.

The American Cancer Society’s Farmingdale Relay for Life is holding a fundraiser at Adventureland from 6 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $25 for all the rides and 20 percent will go to the relay. The JC Café at Farmingdale United Methodist Church, 407 Main St. (corner of Grant Ave.), will host well-known Christian contemporary singer Kim-Marie Vargas. Kim-Marie’s powerful witness has taken her on mission trips to Yugoslavia (where her songs reached the Pops Chart top ten), Singapore, Russia and several other countries. Currently residing on the North Shore, she now ministers in song at local churches, women’s groups and coffee houses. Opening for Kim-Marie will be the FUMC’s very own Worship Band. Come an evening of inspirational celebration. Doors open at 7 p.m. The program begins at 7:30 p.m. Suggested donation $5; complimentary coffee and desserts.
