Walk-In Registrations Now Accepted for Summer Camps
The Recreation Department’s Summer Camps are rapidly filling and walk in registrations are now being accepted. We offer weekly camps in a wide array of sports as well as computer, yoga, science, and theatre. We also offer a Preschool Camp for ages 3-1/2 to 5 years.

Summer Adult Tennis Lessons
The Garden City Recreation Department will conduct evening tennis lessons for adults who are residents of the Incorporated Village of Garden City. The lessons will be held at the Garden City Community Park Tennis Facility and will run one evening a week. There will be a maximum of four players on a court. The dates, times, and fees will be as follows:
Session 2:
July 5-July 29 Mon., Tues., Wed., 7:30-8:30 p.m. or $100
(four weeks) or Thurs. 8:30-9:30 p.m.
Session 3:
Aug. 2-26 Mon., Tues., Wed., 7:30-8:30 p.m. $100 (four weeks) or Thursday 8:30-9:30 p.m.
Please visit the Recreation Office at 108 Rockaway Ave., to register. Payment must accompany registration. You can register for any or all of the sessions. Separate checks should be written for each session. Please make checks payable to “Inc. Village of Garden City.”
Garden City Pool News
Pool registration forms have been mailed out to all village residents. If you have not received a registration form or have questions please visit our pool website (https://www.gardencityrecreation. org/GC_Pool.html) were application forms can be downloaded. It takes one week for registration forms to be processed so please get your application in as soon as possible. Opening Day is right around the corner (June 12).
