Laughter Yoga in New Hyde Park
At “Spinner’s Grinners” Laughter Yoga Club, members take part in a series of laughter, breathing and playfulness exercises with many, many health benefits. You don’t have to be happy, you don’t have to be funny, you don’t even need a sense of humor! Everyone can do this! No joke! We will not be lying on the floor and no knowledge of yoga is necessary. All activities are done either sitting or standing. We meet twice per month, usually on a Thursday night (for approx. 1 hr, 10 min.). Meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. sharp. Senator Johnson to Hold Mobile Office Hours in Williston Park
Senator Craig M. Johnson, will be sponsoring upcoming mobile office hours in the Village of Williston Park Public Library from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The mobile office hours program, which was started soon after the senator’s election to the state senate, is designed to make it easier for residents to bring their concerns, suggestions and ideas to Senator Johnson’s office. By coming to you, my staff and I are seeking to make it easier to bring your issues to our attention,” Senator Johnson said.Information on a variety of topics, including, what to do before you enter the hospital, motor vehicle rights, choosing the right college, and lowering prescription costs will also be available.
