The boys lacrosse teams and their coaches at Garden City Middle School were awarded the Richard W. Wilkens Junior High School Sportsmanship Award for 2010 at the June 14 Nassau County Lacrosse Officials Association meeting. The Richard Wilkens Award is presented annually to the middle school modified lacrosse team(s) and coaching staff that best display exemplary sportsmanship on and off the field.
