Letter: Looking Forward to Returning to Albany In the New Year

I want to thank the residents of the 10th Assembly District for giving me another two-year term as your State Assemblyman in Albany. As I begin my new term, I am energized, once again, to push for a reform agenda that includes property tax relief, spending restraint and strict ethical adherence for legislators.

I look forward to working with residents, my legislative colleagues and Governor-elect Cuomo in crafting a state budget that reduces property taxes and provides needed relief to families and businesses across Long Island.

My sincere gratitude goes out to all those who voted in this year’s election and supported my re-election bid. Voting is an integral part of the democratic process and I appreciate those who take seriously our efforts to reform Albany and bring positive change to Long Island.

Jim Conte, 10th District Assemblyman
