Mill Pond Overlook Plan

Friends of the Bay hosts a meeting on the Mill Pond Overlook Habitat Management Plan at 2 Townsend Square at 7 p.m. Draft alternative plan concepts have been prepared and reviewed by the steering committee and this public meeting is to present these concepts and seek community input. Victorian Fair

The fair brings together a special selection of holiday gifts, crafts, specialty vendor boutiques, delicious homemade baked goods and Granny’s Attic rummage sale. This year’s selection includes chic fashion jewelry, fine photography, holiday decorations, fantasy children’s gifts and books and holiday plants. The Silent Auction will be full of one of a kind items and opportunities for those searching for something truly special. Nov. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 60 E. Main St. On Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 to 3 p.m., Santa will be available for a picture with you and your family. Bring your own camera or use ours. Santa will also have time to personally chat with your children about their holiday wishes. On Saturday, a home-cooked delicious and festive luncheon will be served from noon to 2:30 p.m. in the Victorian Café.

Native American Games

American Rhododendron Society

NY Chapter meeting at 2 p.m. at Planting Fields Arboretum. Weekend admission fees ($8) to arboretum for nonmembers. The public is welcome. Refreshements after discussion. Light Up the Holidays

The Holidays in Oyster Bay Committee invites you to attend its passed hors d’oeuvres and wine tasting fundraiser, “Light Up the Holidays” at 6:30 p.m. at Chase Edwards Gallery, 15 E. Main St. The events continues at 7:30 p.m. at Wild Honey restaurant, 1 E. Main St., at $75 per person. Beer and wine are included in the price. Art Walks

“First Thursdays Night On The Town” features art, food, wine, and music. Other businesses and sites in town will be displaying artwork. Local restaurants will be exhibiting art and are offering a percentage off on meals, wine tastings and more. Live music entertainment is scheduled. Cafes and restaurants will remain open late for dessert and coffee.
