Italy’s Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is currently involved in a sex scandal and is accused of paying an underage girl for sex. According to CNN the prime minister met the under-age girl, nicknamed “Ruby Heartbreaker” at a party in Milan.
According to The New York Times Berlusconi was ordered by a judge on Tuesday to stand trial for paying an under-age girl for sex and abuse of power.
The girl who goes by the name “Ruby Heartbreaker” is Karima El Mahrough, who was 17 years old when the sexual encounter in Milan occured, according to CNN.
She told the Italian news channel Sky TG24 that she lied about her age before meeting Berlusconi. She told the news channel that everybody at that party thought she was 24 because that’s what she told them.
El Mahrough told CNN that her and Berlusconi didn’t have a sexual encounter and that the prime minister gave her money to support her financially, not for sex.
