Hillside Grade to Hold Annual Kids Care Caravan
Hillside Grade School. 150 West Maple Drive, New Hyde Park, will be holding its annual “Kids Care Caravan” Food Drive To Benefit Long Island Cares. We Will Again Be A Part Of The “Feinstein Foundation Challenge”. For Every pound Of Food Collected $1 Will Be Donated to Long Island Cares from the Feinstein Foundation. Between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 noon a truck from Long Island Cares will be located on the blacktop behind Hillside Grade School to accept non-perishable food donations.

Spinner’s Grinners Laughter Yoga in New Hyde Park
Take Time to participate in a series of laughter, breathing and playfulness exercises with many, many health benefits. Go Dog Go at Long Island Children’s Museu
At 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. P.D. Eastman’s classic children’s book comes to life on the LICM stage in an exploration of movement, color and space. The dogs delve into life with gusto, creating a visual spectacle for the audience to enjoy. They snorkel. They howl at the moon. They ride a s wheel. They sing, dance and climb trees. This show is like a pop-up book that comes to life – and never stops. Go, Dog.
