In portions of the interview already released, Sterger says that she is not a “gold-digger,” and that “I haven’t made a dime off anything in this whole situation. Not from the pictures, not from Favre.”

Sterger goes on to say that “I never wanted to sue anyone.”
Favre allegedly sent Sterger voicemails and photos to try and woo her into some sort of affair.
Sterger recounts the first time she was approached about Favre’s interest in her, saying that “a man wearing a Jets badge” asked how she would feel if Favre wanted her number.
“I just looked at him, my usual smart-ass self, and I said ‘I’d say I like my job an awful lot, and I’ve been told I look remarkably like his wife.’”
In the interview, Sterger also talks about her life after the incident blew up and Deadspin.com leaked the photos Favre allegedly sent her. “I was trying to go to work, do my job,” she says, “but how are you supposed to report on the news when you are the news? It was tough, it was embarrassing, it was humiliating.”
The interview will air on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
