Crazy For You to Open on Herricks Community Theater
The Herricks Community Players musical production of Crazy for You, under the direction of the talented John Hayes and producer Carol Hayes, promises to be another smash hit filled with the talented performers from all over Long Island. The Prince Who Wouldn’t Talk at William Gill Theater
The first show to be presented in the newly refurbished William Gill Theatre atop New Hyde Park Village Hall, corner of New Hyde Park Road and Jericho Turnpike on May 6 at 7 p.m. and again on May 7 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Ticket distribution will be at village hall on April 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, April 30 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. upstairs at the William Gill theater. Monday, May 2 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. upstairs at the William Gill Theater. The show under the direction of Marilyn McClean promises to be a huge hit.

The United Methodist Church of Hempstead, 40 Washington Street, is hold a spring Rummage Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Included will be a white elephant sale and a baked goods, clothing, furniture, toys, linens and more. Refreshments available from 9 to 11 a.m. for a nominal donation.

Spinner’s Grinners Laughter Yoga in New Hyde Park
Take time to participate in a series of laughter, breathing and playfulness exercises with many, many health benefits. You don’t have to be happy, you don’t have to be funny, you don’t even need a sense of humor! Everyone can do this! No joke! We will not be laying on the floor and no knowledge of yoga is necessary. All activities are done either sitting or standing. We meet twice per month, on a Wednesday night (for approx. 1 hr, 10 min.). Meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. sharp. Ages: 13-80. Wounded Warrior Project Fundraiser
The Wounded Warrior Project Fundraiser will be held at The Dublin Pub, 2002 Jericho Turnpike, New Hyde Park from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. This is a benefit to raise money, awareness and to celebrate those who sacrificed for our safety, our freedom and our country. Featuring Soul Doctor G’s All Star Wounded Warrior Project Band with a special guest appearance by The Cold Spring Harbor Band. An incredible night of music, dancing and fun and a chance to meet some of the nation’s heroes.
