Our district is very fortunate to have Pat Mahon and Ken Rochon on the Island Trees School Board as they have done an excellent job in the past six years. Pat and Ken are looking to broaden the scope of shared services with surrounding districts in order to save the taxpayers money.
Pat with her background of 33 years as an educator helps evaluate certain proposals before the Board of Education. Ken with his experience of 41 years on the Levittown, Nassau County Sheriffs’ Department and expertise in CPR/AED Training is certainly an asset to the Board of Education.
Together they are striving for lower taxes while still holding the high standard of education. After attending many work sessions and board meetings, I am amazed at the hard work, long hours and dedication of the board members.
I hope you will support Pat Mahon and Ken Rochon and re-elect them so they can continue their excellent work on the Island Trees School Board.
