Shots Fired In Franklin Square

The Fifth Squad is investigating gun shots fired on Sunday July 10, 2011 at 1:30 a.m. in Franklin Square.

According to detectives, on Sunday at 1;30 p.m., a unknown man was involved in a dispute with guests of a residence on Esther Street.  The subject retrieved a gun from his vehicle and fired 2 shots into the air outside the home.  He then fled in his vehicle in an unknown direction.

There were no injuries or property damage reported.

The suspect is being described as a black male, 5’10”, 150 lbs, wearing a black tee shirt, tan shorts and a black baseball cap. Detectives ask anyone with information about this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
