Robyn Gardner, the 35-year-old Maryland woman who disappeared while vacationing in Aruba with her companion Gary Giordano, was caught on surveillance cameras leaving an Aruban restaurant with Giordano just hours before she went missing.

Gardner was reportedly intoxicated when she was last seen at the restaurant, a worker told ABC news. Less than two hours later Giordano had reported her missing, saying she disappeared while snorkeling in the evening, which one witness has already come forward to dispute. The worker also said that Gardner looked too “put together” for a snorkeling date.
ABC news acquired a still photo from the surveillance footage showing Gardner and Giordano leaving the restaurant. It is the last known photo of Gardner before she disappeared, taken at the Rum Reef Bar & Grill on August 2.
Giordano, 50, is currently being held in an Aruban jail and is the only suspect in Gardner’s disappearance. Gardner is presumed dead by police at this time.
Giordano had previously bought an accidental insurance policy on Gardner, one that he tried to collect when the woman disappeared. He had purchased the policy just days before traveling to Aruba with Giordano.
American teen Natalee Holloway had disappeared, after she was seen leaving a bar with Aruban teen Joran van der Sloot, during a high school graduation trip to Aruba in 2005. Holloway had stayed at the same hotel as Gardner and Giordano.

Van der Sloot was never charged in Holloway’s disappearance but is currently awaiting trial in Peru on charges he murdered Stephanie Flores, a 21-year-old woman he had met in a casino.
Flores’ body was found in Van der Sloot’s hotel room in Lima exactly five years to the day of Holloway’s disappearance.
