Forever England Stories and Songs of WWII

How to Pay “Wholesale” For College
Every parent of a college-bound teen who is confused and stressed about how on earth they’ll ever pay for college, now has help. Andrew Lockwood, J.D., an attorney turned – certified college planner, author and owner of a college financial consulting firm in Plainview, will conduct lectures on controversial, closely guarded “insider secrets” of college financial aid at 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room East, Student Center, Hofstra University, 200 Hofstra University, Hempstead. Lockwood plans to disclose four little known “loopholes” buried in the Department of Education’s financial aid regulations that could help families – particularly upper-middle class families, small business owners and divorced families – save 33 percent or more off the cost of college. Stroke Support Groups
Stroke Life Society is a community organization of survivors and co-survivors in the pursuit of living and helping others. A stroke can be very isolating. •Family Support Group, an ongoing support group for those who have family members or other loved ones with mental illness. •Introduction to Chemotherapy, a monthly information session for cancer patients who are beginning chemotherapy treatments. Family members are welcome. Refreshments served. There is also an opportunity to share information with others who may have been through similar situations.
