If you’re planning on visiting a beach this week we have some disheartening news for you: Summer officially ends Wednesday.

So as we forget about 90 degree weather and sandy beaches, we will slowly ready ourselves for fall weather, and a lot of pumpkin spice coffee.

Though it’s hard to move on–and sometimes depressing–those of us not going south for the fall and winter need to realize that there are actually fun activities during the fall.

And most of these activities are family friendly, aside from some Halloween parties that inspire guys and girls both to show a lot of skin in the name of this scary holiday.

Families across Long Island will visit our friendly apple and pumpkin picking sites during the fall months. Those are just two activities on our list of Top 10 things to do during the fall, but we don’t want to give away too much.
