Two Men Rob Group On Rockville Centre Street

Two men rob a group in Rockville Centre, making out with slew of personal property.

According to Nassau County Police, two 21-year-old women and two men, ages 22 and 23-years-old, were walking in the vicinity of 100 North Centre Avenue in Rockville Centre at 4:30 p.m. Friday when they were approached by two men. The first unidentified man pointed a gun at the group and demanded their possessions. After handing over their personal property including credit cards, ID cards, a cell phone, two wallets, a handbag and undetermined amount of money, the two robbers reportedly ran off on North Centre Avenue toward Meehan Lane.

No injuries were reported but detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.

The first subject is described as a black male, approximately 6’1” and weighing around 185 lbs. He was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, a black ski cap and a doo-rag. The second subject is described as a black male, approximately 5’7” to 5’9” with short hair, wearing a blue t-shirt with yellow stripes and blue jeans.
