Levittown Church Set On Fire

A Levittown church that was under construction, was set on fire.

According to police, at around 4:30 p.m., a fire was intentionally set inside the St. Thomas Malankara Orthodox Catholic Church located at 100 Schoolhouse Road in Levittown—the church is currently under construction with only the shell and concrete work completed.  Cardboard boxes and wood crates full of elevator materials were set on fire in four different sections of the church. A local fire department arrived and extinguished the fire. The building suffered minor damage.

There is no evidence of a bias crime at this time and the investigation is on going.
