Walking down the aisle is the best part of any wedding.  Whether you are walking as a member of the bridal party or as the bride herself, you are taking part in a great wedding tradition.  Brides dress up aisles with pew bows, candles and sometimes beautiful aisle runners but here are some runners that are sure to impress.

Dressing up the aisle has never been so much fun. With so many options now available, it is a great way to personalize your day right from the start. I have always loved beautiful monogramed aisle runners but don’t be afraid to try something different.  Select a beautiful qoute or lyrics from a song that your guests can read before finding their seats. It will be the first thing you see when the doors open and you make your way to your fiance, so make sure it means something to you. If you are set on having a monogram then think about using the same monogram throughout your wedding to tie it in to your concept.  A custom Gobo, monogramed programs and even a matching monogramed table runner are great ways to accomplish this.

Brides tend to want to keep their ceremony locations white and bring in their wedding colors subtly with simple touches like colored ribbon tied around babys-breath pew bows.  Selecting a beautiful patterned aisle runner in your colors is also a great option.  One of my favorite new runners that you might have seen in recent celebrity nuptials is petal runners from Petal Happy.  If you dreamed of walking down the aisle on a bed of rose pedals then this is the runner for you.  You can choose pedals in your colors or keep it all white, the choice is yours.  The runners are full of hand sewn silk pedals, perfect for pictures.  If a full runner is too much you can also choose two side runners or even petal aisle cutouts.
