In the new advertisement, Perry slams the Obama administration’s problem with the Christian religion practice while allowing gays to openly serving in the military.
“I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a Christian, but you don’t need to be in the pew every Sunday to know there’s something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can’t openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school,” says Rick Perry in a new advertisement.
For one, Fox News agrees.
According to Fox News, Perry’s declaration resonated with millions of Christians who believe their faith is under attack for a number of reasons including one instance when a Christian cross was removed from outside an Army chapel because it violated regulations, and another instance where Fox reports that the Air Force Academy was forced to apologize for promoting Operation Christmas Child.
“As President, I’ll end Obama’s war on religion. And I’ll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage.” He says. “Faith made America strong. It can make her strong again.”
