Levittown New Yorkers Claim Championship Title

After multiple season attempts, the Levittown New Yorkers claimed the 2011 MABL Division A Championships. In game one, the New Yorkers stepped up and scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to secure a 3-1 win.

The team’s ace pitcher, Pete Abrami, shut down the Long Island Dodgers allowing one unearned run on three hits with an appealing eight strikeouts. Game two hindered the celebrations with a devastating 2-15 loss.

The Levittown New Yorkers came back confidently and played impeccably in game three. The batters made hitting look too easy and their defensive line-up rallied behind pitcher Ryan Harold. The New Yorkers proudly scored 22 runs to secure their first team championship. Ryan Harold threw 165 pitches for the duration of the game, striking out eleven batters and locking in the win. Rob Degennaro led the team with 6 RBIs and a homerun. Bob O’brien also helped to lead the offensive explosion with three hits and 5 RBIs. Congratulations to the Levittown New Yorkers on their first MABL Division A Championship.
