Tim Tebow Invited To Military Ball (Video)

Picture 6“Tim Tebow, will you be my date to the 2012 Military Ball?” asked Jamie Walden, a member of the U.S. Air Force.

“I would be the luckiest and happiest girl if you were to say yes,” she says in a new viral video invitation to the football player. “So please say yes.”

The video invitation is making its rounds on the internet and not only shows Walden pleading for Tebow to be her arm candy for the Military Ball but also shows others urging Tim to accept the invitation too. Guest stars include Walden’s mom who says, “We approve of this message, just say yes.”

“I hope your answer is yes and I hope to hear from you soon,” Walden says before signing off.

The proposal went viral on YouTube earlier this February.

“She is an active duty member excited to attend her first Military Ball,” reads the YouTube caption. “The Ball represents the honorable and prideful Airmen that serve the nation and their community. It would make the night that much more memorable for the entire ARK LA TEX community if Tim attended. Please say yes, Tim!”

The video has yet to make its way to the Broncos quarterback but seeing that it’s already had over 100,000 views, we’re sure it won’t be long until Walden gets an answer.

The celebrity invite follows a string of invites via YouTube. While Betty White declined an invitation, this past November, actors Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis attended the 2011 Military Ball after accepting.

Timberlake escorted Corporal Kelsey De Santis. After attending, Timberlake took to his blog, where he described his night in detail.

“I’ve always been very vocal about my support of our Armed Forces. I’ve always felt like they offered us the opportunity to live our lives freely without the fear that so many other nations have to endure still to this day. And, they do it without asking for anything in return,” writes Timberlake. ”Thank you Corporal Kelsey DeSantis. Thank you for inviting me. And, thank you for being my hero.”

Kunis accepted a YouTube invitation from Sgt. Scott Moore to the ball and accompanied him to the November event.

In July, Kunis was asked about the invitation by a FOX reporter during the “Friends with Benefits” premiere, when her co-star Justin Timberlake said, “Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? You need to do it for your country.” Kunis accepted the invitation right there, saying, “I’ll go, I’ll do it for you,” referring to Timberlake.
