An Amityville man was killed while outside of a house party Sunday morning.
At around 1:28 a.m., a group of people became involved in a heated dispute during a house party at 43 East Poplar St. in Central Islip. The dispute escalated and moved outside, where 30-year-old Christian Jordan was shot once.
Jordan, of Amityville, was rushed to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Jordan wasn’t the only victim involved in the dispute, another man was assaulted but survived, only sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
