There must be something in Hollywood’s water because it seems like a new celeb is preggers every day!
Reese Witherspoon, who was just married to agent Jim Toth at her home in Ojai, California country estate about a year ago is pregnant with her third child, as reported by Us Weekly in their new issue.
The actress, who is celebrating her 36th birthday on March 22, is around 12 weeks pregnant according to the magazine. US Weekly added that Reese is not planning on making an official statement to the media, but has told family and friends that are close to her.
One of the people in her life that are well aware of the star’s pregnancy is 41-year-old hubby Jim Toth and father of the new child. He is the co-head of the motion picture talent department at the major Hollywood agency CAA.
Witherspoon is not new to motherhood and has two other children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, daughter, Ava, 12, and a son, Deacon, 8.
Phillippe and Witherspoon were married in 1999. Their marriage lasted eight years before the were separated in 2006, and then ultimately ended their marriage with a divorce in 2007.
When the “Walk The Line” actress made an appearance on the British program “Daybreak” in February, Reese explained how much she loved babies, saying, “I hug all my girlfriends’ babies. They’re all so stinking cute.”
She also spoke about how she was having a tough time with her kids growing up, “There’s a little sadness as they’re growing up and walking away from you, but it kind of changes the whole dynamic,” she said.
Reese is going to enjoy every moment that she has with her new baby. According to Us Weekly, the star is planning on taking a time off from acting. Us added that her last few films, “This Means War,” “Water for Elephants” and “How Do You Know” weren’t the hits Reese normally makes at the box office.
Before her break from acting, Reese will appear in “Mud,” with Matthew McConaughey. She is also set to act in Atom Egoyan’s legal drama “Devil’s Knot,” with Colin Firth and “Big Eyes,” with Ryan Reynolds.
