2 Swipe $3K Worth of Toner from Medford Staples

Picture 131Suffolk County police are seeking the public’s help to identify two men who stole 31 toner cartridges from a Medford Staples.

The two men walked into the Staples on Route 112 and placed 31 toner cartridges worth over $3,000, in a large empty filing cabinet on Saturday, March 21 at 8 p.m. The two men left the store with the filing cabinet box full of toner without paying for it, according to Sixth Squad detectives.

One of the men is described as a black man in his 30s, between 5-feet, 8-inches and 5-feet,10-inches tall, 215 pounds, wearing a white t-shirt, grey hooded sweatshirt, jeans and brown shoes.  The other man is described as black, late 20s or early 30s wearing a black and white striped shirt, a dark jacket and jeans.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information.
