A new trailer for upcoming game Assassin’s Creed III has just gone viral giving gamers a glimpse into the newest installment of the popular Assassin’s Creed series.
“As a Native American Assassin fights to protect his land and his people, he will ignite the flames of a young nation’s revolution,” the new trailer caption reads.
The newly released trailer gives gamers a dose of the action with a handful of gory fight scenes and an exciting introduction to new protagonist Conner Kenway, who is half-English and half-Mohawk.
“I watched them fight and die in the name of freedom,” says Conner in the new trailer as he is seen taking on a group of Redcoats alone. “They speak of liberty and justice but for who?”
The game is set to be released October 30 and comes as the fifth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the third numbered title.
Assassin’s Creed III kicks off in the American Colonies during the American Revolution where the 13 colonies are at war with the British Crown.
Gamers will find updated animations, the addition of more methods of movement like the ability to jump through windows and onto trees as well as an automated enemy selection, according to reports. Conner will be also able to take on enemies with a slew of weapons including a knife, tomahawk, bow and arrow, to name a few.
