Two Men Robbed Of Money, Cell Phone In Freeport

Two men swiped a cell phone and money from two others in Freeport early Sunday.

On Sunday, at 2:45 a.m. two men in their early twenties were in front of 188 Woodside Avenue, when they were approached by two men. According to cops, one man was wielding a handgun while he demanded money. The two men ultimately forked over a cell phone and unknown amount of money. With that, the robbers fled the scene.

Police described one of the robbers as a light skinned black man or Hispanic man with a thin build and long curly hair. He was wearing a red cap, a black tank top, white Adidas pants and a red ski mask. They described his accomplice as a black man, aged 18-20 and wearing blue jeans.
