Open House For Seniors
The Plainview-Old Bethpage Seniors Club located at 85 Jamaica Avenue, Plainview, will hold an open house for seniors 60 and over from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Seniors must bring their school tax bill to show residency in Plainview or Old Bethpage. Free Veterinary Lectures
Once a month beginning in September through December, Long Island Cat Fanciers sponsors free lectures given by top local veterinarians on topics relevant to dog and cat owners.
