Election Day is a month and a half away, but there are some important dates to take into mind to make sure voters can cast their ballots without a hitch on Nov. 6.
New voter registration and change of address forms must be postmarked by Oct 12 and must be received by Oct. 17.
Those who have been honorably discharged from the military or have become a naturalized citizen by Oct. 12 can register in person at either board of election office through Oct. 26.
Absentee ballot applications must be postmarked by Oct. 30, or handed delivered in-person by Nov. 5, the latest day absentee ballots must be postmarked. They must arrive by Nov. 6.
