Week 2 of the NFL season kicks off Sunday with another full slate of games.

Of course, that’s if you don’t count Thursday’s game between the Bears and Packers, which Green Bay won 23-10. But you might have missed that game, because, well, it was on Thursday.

It was the second straight week that the NFL week got off to an early start. (The Giants and Cowboys faced off Wednesday Sept. 5.)

Speaking of the Giants, they’re looking for their first win of the season after a poor performance against their rivals from Dallas. Coming to town is Tampa Bay, who unlike the Giants, grabbed their first victory of the season in Week 1.

The Giants are hoping their secondary will be a little healthier Sunday afternoon. According to reports, cornerback Prince Amukamara is listed as questionable and last week’s starter Michael Coe has practiced all week after leaving the game early with a hamstring injury.

The Giants take on the Buccaneers Sunday at 1 p.m. on Fox.

Now for the other team in the area: The Jets will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers who are coming off a defeat to Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.

The Jets surprised a lot of people after their offense, which was pedestrian in the preseason, jumped out of the gate early and sparked a 48-28 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Quarterback Mark Sanchez completed 70 percent of his passes last Sunday and threw for three touchdowns while compiling 266 passing yards.

The Jets will be without All-Pro cornerback Darelle Revis who suffered a concussion during last week’s game. With Revis out, Kyle Wilson is tasked with picking up the slack against the Steelers.

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. on CBS.
