Halloween Dance Party
A ghost and goblin Halloween dance party will be held at Kismet Shriners Hall, 18 W. Nicholai (off Old Country Road 107N) from noon to 3 p.m. and will include costume contest, dancing to your favorite music, chicken, salads, bagels, coffee, and pastries with a professional ballroom DJ. Dance Classes

A Spiritual Call To Ban Fracking
Join faith and community leaders in urging Governor Cuomo to ban fracking. Vigils to protect land and water will be followed by a potluck supper. Please bring food to share. Fourth Annual Bands Battling Autism
The 4th Annual Bands Battling Autism takes place at the Stuart Thomas Manor in Farmingdale. Bands composed of local middle school and high school students perform for a chance to perform at the New York Islanders Autism Awareness Night. The proceeds from the event are donated to support the 13th Annual Long Island Walk Now for Autism Speaks. Advanced ticket price is $12/each. It will be $15 at the door the day of the event.
