First Meeting Held On NHP PAL Gym Renovation

Members of the New Hyde Park PAL, led by Officer Kevin Worth, the director of the program, met on Monday morning, November 19, to discuss plans for the renovation of the gymnasium at the PAL’s headquarters on Denton Avenue in New Hyde Park. Funding is now in place for work to be done renovating the gym, which will include a new gym floor. Work will also be done to alleviate any future flooding programs. The PAL will fund most of the work. Senator Jack M. Martins, who attended the meeting, will be assisting the PAL in looking for additional funding sources.
