Letter: Lupinacci Thanks Election Supporters

On Tuesday, Nov. 6, after all the votes were counted, I was gratified to learn that the people of the Tenth Assembly District placed their trust in me to succeed my friend and mentor, Assemblyman James D. Conte.

I am truly overwhelmed by the support I received and grateful for the opportunity to represent the district where I have lived my entire life. It was rewarding to learn that my positive message focusing on the most pressing issues resonated with the voters.

These are truly extraordinary and difficult times. In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, there remains a tremendous amount of work to rebuild Long Island. I look forward to being able to help the residents affected by the storm.  In addition to recovering from the storm, there is much work to be done to jump-start the economy and ensure that Long Island’s schools remain exceptional.

In closing, I would like to thank everyone who supported me during the past three eventful months. Whether your support was in the form of a vote, a donation, distribution of literature, or displaying a lawn sign at your home or business, it is greatly appreciated.  To those who did not support me, please know that I will work tirelessly, with leaders in all parties, to address the issues that matter to you.

Chad A. Lupinacci, Assemblyman-Elect, Tenth Assembly District
