Obituary: Helen Lucy Bergmann

Helen Lucy Bergmann (née Yedinack), of Farmingdale, died on Dec. 13. Devoted wife of the late George “Bob.” Loving mother of Diane (William), Janice (Lawrence), and Christine Joan Bergmann. Cherished grandmother of Douglas William (Jamie), John Thomas, Carole Ann, and Kathryn Elizabeth. Beloved sister of Joan, and Aunt to Karen, Eric, George, Cindy and the late Andrew. Helen worked for New York Telephone Company, human resources, and in retail. She was active in Girl Scouts, Women’s Club of Farmingdale, St. Thomas Episcopal Church, and the Ecumenical Choir. Helen was an avid crafter, boater, and volunteer. Funeral Service was held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Farmingdale. Internment Pinelawn Memorial Park.
