New Yoga Class Announced
The Recreation and Parks Department is adding another adult yoga class. This class will be held on Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. Certified yoga instructor Connie McKnight will lead the class through the various movements needed to improve flexibility and coordination during this one hour class. Classes will begin the week of March 7 in St. Paul’s Senior Center. The cost of this class will be $65 for 10 weeks. To register, please visit the recreation office at 108 Rockaway Ave.
USSI Multi Sport Camp
The Recreation and Parks Department again offers the US Sports Institute’s Multi Sport Program during the spring break week of March 25-28. This four-day program, open to residents of the Village ages 5 to 12, will cover a range of sports and activities during the course of the session. Times and prices will be as follows: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., $119; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., $139 (camper should bring lunch); 1 to 4 p.m., $79

Parent And Tots Sports Program Announced
The Recreation and Parks Department is please to offer a program dedicated to parents and tots. The US Sports Institute’s Parent and Tot Program will introduce 2 and 3-year-olds to a variety of sports, games and group activities, all with the help of a parent. This seven-week program, open to residents of the Village of Garden City, will be available on Thursdays beginning April 18 according to the following times: 10 to 10:45 a.m., $95; 11 to 11:45 a.m., $95; noon to 12:45 p.m., $95

Peewee Sports Sampler
The Garden City Recreation Department will offer a Pee-Wee Sports Sampler program this winter for residents of the Inc. Village of Garden City. This program has been designed especially for the young child as a positive introductory experience to sports. The cost of each six-week session will be $75. Classes are 55 minutes in length. Children must be 4 years old by the first day of class in order to attend. The program will take place at St Paul’s Recreation Complex according to the following schedule: Tuesdays at 12:45 p.m., Thursdays at 11:15 a.m., 12:45 p.m., Friday at 1:30 p.m.
Classes will begin the week of March 4. To register for this program, please fill out the registration form and submit with payment to the Garden City Recreation Department at 108 Rockaway Ave.
A Brand New Roller Rink
The Garden City Recreation & Parks Department is proud to announce that this spring it will debut its brand new roller rink where various hockey programs will be offered for residents of the village ages 5-17 and 30 and over. Whether you have played for years already, or looking to join, there is no better time to join in on all the fun. Stay tuned in the weeks to come for additional announcements.
Cancellations For Bad Weather

Winter Adult Zumba Registration Begins
The following Zumba exercise classes for adults will be offered by the Department of Recreation and Parks:
Mondays at 7:45 p.m. (begins March 4) 8 weeks for $72
Thursdays at 9:15 a.m. (began on Jan. 31) 12 weeks for $108
Saturdays at 9:15 a.m. (begins Feb. 2) 12 weeks for $108
*New class – Zumba basics 4 weeks for $36 – come see if you would enjoy this new form of exercise – Wednesday evenings at 7:45 p.m.
All classes are lead by Felicia Lovaglio, director of the Dance Conservatory and adjunct professor at Adelphi. Each class is 45 minutes long. All classes are held in St. Paul’s Cluett Hall or St. Paul’s Senior Center.
