In a colorful combination of athletics and the arts, art students at Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School recently created colorful paintings for the Nassau County Gymnastics Championship.
Adrian Kim, Bing Ying Xia, Samantha Steinwald, Christina Billias, Farrah Su, Danielle Apfel, Brooke Holman, and Lauren Liebersten, all members of the school’s National Art Honor Society, painted gymnast-inspired panels that were featured at the competition.
