The woman who became known as the infamous “hot dog hooker” after she pleaded guilty to prostitution out of her hot dog truck last year has been arrested again on Friday evening.
Catherina Scalia arrived at a hotel in East Garden City in her hot dog vending truck, performed massage without a license on an undercover detective shortly after 5 p.m. and “offered to engage in a sexual act for an undetermined amount of money,” Nassau County police said in a news release.
Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives charged the 47-year-old East Rockaway woman with prostitution and unauthorized practice.
She will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
