Explore three different biotic communities with a Garvies Point Naturalist: woodland, meadow, and pond. Observe these diverse habitats that are home to many different types of plants, trees, birds, and wildlife. Feel free to bring binoculars, we have many song birds! Explore the intertidal zone at Garvies beach in search of extraordinary plants and animals that are specially adapted for surviving in such a harsh environment. Learn with a Garvies Point Naturalist just how these creatures are able to survive. Search for crabs, oysters, clams and more!

Free Veterinary Lectures
Once a month through December, Long Island Cat Fanciers sponsors free lectures given by top local veterinarians on topics relevant to dog and cat owners.
