A 21-year-old man was shot and seriously wounded in a drive-by shooting in front of his West Babylon home on Monday afternoon, Suffolk County police said.

Christian Warren was in front of his house on Wright Street when the shooter opened fire from a vehicle the fled the scene at 4:30 p.m., police said.

Warren was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip and was transferred to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was listed in serious but stable condition with a gunshot wound to to his face.

First Squad detectives are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information to call them at 631-854-8152 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
